Dates in Gantt Charts

Two dates affect a Gantt chart

Task Deadline

Each line in the editor represents a task. Commas separate task line details.

The third entry on a Task Line in the editor is optional. If present, it is the task deadline. Specified in the format 'YYYY-MM-DD', for example '2026-11-19'. The task will either be complete by time 23:59:59 on the specified date or a visible red vertical bar will show the task is not completed by its deadline.

Press and hold a bar on the chart to move it.

Break Date

A single date alone on a task line indicates a break. The tasks below it only begin after the specified date.

It's in the format 'YYYY-MM-DD', for example '2026-10-25'.
